The Crystal is an apparatus used for hair removal & other skin treatments. It was developed by Active Optical Systems incorporating knowledge and experience of more than 25 years in the market and awareness to the growing need to improve profitability, safety and client satisfaction.

The Crystal 512 is different from other IPL machines and based upon Active's patented GEM-PL technology (Geometrical energy management) The Crystal GEM technology is a unique way to deliver energy to a predetermined target. Unlike other IPL's and lasers where the energy is scattered on the skin the GEM technology manages to concentrate the bulk of the energy in a geometrical plane positioned under the skin. This precise positioning enables a selective targeting of hair follicles, pigmentation, veins and acne.

Due to the concentration of the energy there is no need to overload the skin with excessive energy like in many other systems. This makes the treatment efficient but at the same time painless and gentle to the skin.

The Crystal has several unique features that make it the best of its kind:

Broadband: The unique computer controlled hand piece can deal with different applications. Just switch program and you can efficiently treat either hair, pigments, vascular, acne, lesions or perform skin rejuvenation.
